Hello, my name is General Soul, the owner, operator and virtual disc jockey of Classic Soul Unlimited. This station was created out of my childhood dream of running my own radio station. Due to this wonderful digital technology, it had enabled me the opportunity to convert my dreams into reality. As a result of the Internet, Classic Soul Unlimited has been streaming great music since 2009, exclusively playing classic Soul and R&B music.
However, three years ago I changed from secular music to Gospel. I incorporated today’s gospel and the classic gospel from the past. Eventually, I incorporated uplifting, gospel flavored R&B and Smooth Jazz as well. As a result of “tweaking” the various Gospel, Soul and Jazz mix, I’ve received many well received email messages regarding the variety of music. I hope when you click on the media player below and listen for an hour or two, that you’ll feel the same way.
